State Laws require a state resale tax number to open a business and collect state sales taxes. These state taxes are paid in annually, or quarterly if the amounts are larger. This is different from a federal ID, or a city tax which you must check for at your local county court house. Each state's requirements can be gotten from your own state's information centers. Our company sells only wholesale to specific customers who have their State Resale Tax number. We cannot sell or ship to anyone without this number and our required state resale tax form signed and in out files, before we can ship.
